Every Day

In this book you will experience the course of true love and how it can affect lives with risks and strange encounters. ‘A’, a mysterious and alien like character with no gender, reveals a life changing secret for the first time in the 16 years he/she has been alive to Rhiannon, a normal school girl who happened to be in the right place at the right time. All previous rules don't matter anymore because this girl is worth it. This meeting steers the two of them onto a path of life no one would know even exists with ‘A’ being someone new, everyday.

This book by Levithan is beautifully written with a twisted plot and dangers which appear along the way. One such problem is caused by a boy called Nathan, who experiences the presence of A and becomes an annoying obstacle in this story for him/her; making their secret harder and harder to protect from the world. However, this encounter, that leads to a party with Rhiannon and a night on the side of a road, is not all bad as it sends A to meet someone else like them. A chance to work out how to be someone, for more than a day.

This story by David Levithan will not disappoint. With the extra added sense of sci-fi in the book, you will really find mystery between these two unlikely friends. I assure you will be dying to read on and solve what happens in the end, even if it is not what you would have expected to happen. We can also notice a sense of conflict when the two main characters slip in and out of arguments to see if they can really make this work for both of them. This book is not aimed at girls or boys in my opinion so I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a new read.
