Fever Crumb

Fever Crumb is based in London in the future. It is about a girl called Fever who was found by Doctor Crumb when she was a baby. The story is about Fever Crumb leaving Doctor Crumb and finding out about her parents and saving some innocent children.

My favourite character was Fever. I liked her because the journey of the book went along with her and I kept finding out more about her and her true family. I also liked the ending for a few different reasons. First of all I thought it was quite happy when she saved the children because they went to a better place (not heaven).

The part of the book I didn’t like was the beginning. I thought it dragged on for a while and I didn’t start enjoying the book until Fever left Doctor Crumb. That’s when it started to get good.

The genre of the book is science fiction.

Overall, I think the book was quite good. I don’t massively love reading but I did enjoy this book. The start was the only downside but from there it is very good. I would recommend this book to teens and young adults as I think it’s a bit to grown up for younger children. If you prefer comedic books, I don’t suggest this one as it is quite serious. I would give the book a 4 out of 5 star rating.
