Urgle By Meaghan McIsaac

Urgle is a fascinating and thrilling read about hope and survival. This book follows a young boy called Urgle in a hope to find his younger brother. The Setting for this book is an unknown wilderness for the brothers as when they turn 16 it’s leaving day, after this you can never come back to the Ikkuma pit, where they live.
One day a brother breaks the rules and comes back! No one knows why, some think it is bad. Following this, Urgle’s younger brother Cubby gets captured by these mysterious creatures who have followed Blaze, the brother who has come back. Urgle’s quest is to find Cubby and bring him back home, with the help of his friends Digger, Av, Fiver and Blaze. Once they are out in the wild they must follow Blazes commands as he knows these places that they don’t. Blaze believes that cubby has been taken to a temple.

Meaghan Mclsaac has created an amazing story that the reader really gets involved in, Urgle may not be the best at everything but gives it a good try. It has a good motto to live by as well. What makes this book so brilliant is the fact that your imagination can run wild, there is always a description but it still gives you the chance to picture everything and let your brain go crazy. In my opinion this is a fantastic book about determination, adventure and mystery and I would recommend this book to everyone.
